British Sea Power

British Sea Power are eccentric, whimsical and blessed with the freedom that an indie label and insanely loyal fan base bring. Each record has defied expectations with their third album, described as a phenomenal masterpiece narrowly missing out on the Mercury Music Prize for their 'Do You Like Rock Music' .

Following this the band have just released a soundtrack to 'Man of Aran' and with a solid reputation of being a superb live act, we look welcoming them to the Music Festival, your only chance to see them in the south this summer, outside a major Festival.

"...British Sea Power rule!” Rolling Stone

"The best band in Britain" The Sunday Times

King Creosote

King Creosote (or Kenny Anderson, as he's better known in his native Anstruther, Fife) is a veritable one-man army. As well as writing, producing and performing for over a decade in various guises, he is he’s also the founder of Fence Records, a collective of musicians, artists and craftsfolk based in Fife, Scotland. KC has emerged as one of the true spearheads of the recent folk revival. His distinct, quirky songs are both supremely fresh and achingly familiar, and can be heard in any number of live shows and festivals he organizes, as well as on his latest album Flick the Vs.

"King Creosote’s fifth album charms from the word go with lilting Scottish vocals and pace and style changes that keep you guessing. (Flick The Vs is) an absolute corker." BBC.co.uk

Dlugokecki

                Dlugokecki

Dlugokecki is a musical project fronted by Ben Dlugokecki (pronounced- Der-loo-go-ken-ski) - An extraordinarily talented 26 year old prolific singer/songwriter based in Southampton, England. He is joined by Andy Wild (Keys, vocals), Marie Kitchen (Cello, vocals), Boyd (Drums) & Aidan Hampson (Bass). Their music has been compared to the likes of David Gray, Paul Simon and Damian Rice.

Dlugokecki, have just returned from their 1st American tour ,where they literally blew crowds away in both New York and at the prestigious , by invitation only ;SXSW (Austin, Texas).

Having played with everyone from Snow Patrol to David Gray they stand on the precipice of breaking both Stateside and Nationally .Thousands of a people each day listen to their music via myspace and pretty soon they really will be . . . the difficult name on everyone’s lips  . .  .

Broken Links

Broken Links

The year 2008, marked the beginning of Broken Links. A 3-piece alternative act from Eastleigh, diving into the lyrical and musical depths of free association, taking you on an emotional rollercoaster of despair to complete arousal.

Influenced by the under-currents of post-punk, and then boxing it up into an old stone box made of pure hard space rock and sin. A band you simply cannot ignore.

Broken Links have supported signed acts 'My Vitriol', ‘Fighting with Wire’, ‘Official Secrets Act’, and ‘The Cinematics’, picking up some die-hard fans along the way. They have taken their live show to well established venues such as The Joiners, iBar, Talking Heads, The Railway Inn, and Lennons, with full intention of leaving watchers mesmerised by the wall of sound they create. A sound certainly not expected of a three piece.

If their first EP Resisting Movement And The Almost Advisory is anything to go by, they cannot disappoint.
